Main Council & Committee Meeting Dates 2010

The main activities of the Parish Council are undertaken through its Committees. 

Finance and Administration

Supervises all matters concerning the finances of the Parish Council, and administration aspects that are not covered elsewhere... 

Planning

Views all planning applications submitted within the Parish of Felpham, and passes its recommendations to Arun District Council Planning Department. 

Allotments and Open Spaces

Manages both allotments and works to enhance open spaces in the Parish of Felpham.  

There are currently 39 allotment plots of various sizes at the St Michael’s Allotment Site (managed by the Parish Council) and 93 plots at the Felpham Way Allotment Site (managed by the Felpham Allotments and Gardens Society (FAGS)). All plots are currently filled, but should you wish to be placed on the waiting list for a plot when one becomes available then please apply to the Parish Council via post (please ensure that your name and address and contact telephone number are included) and send to: The Clerk, Felpham Parish Council, St Mary’s Centre, Grassmere Close, Felpham PO22 7NU or by e-mail to: clerk@felphampc.gov.uk.

Please note that you must be a resident of Felpham to be eligible for an allotment plot.

Projects

Evaluates, researches and commissions projects for the benefit of Felpham residents.

Local Plan Advisory Committee Now called the "Site Six Committee"

On going brief to review and discuss as well as advise the Parish Council on proposals to develop land at Felpham as described in the existing ’Local Plan’. Two members from this committee will be a part of the ’new working party’ being set up by Arun District Council.

The whole Council meets once a month to review Committee activity, formulate policy and make decisions.
